Diamonds in the Rough Podcast Featuring Jessica Martin
On the second episode of Diamonds in the Rough Podcast, guest Jessica Martin shares her story.
In 2015, Cheyenne’s Wyoming Tribune Eagle newspaper began covering a story with headlines such as: “Base resident accused of assaulting teenager,” “Base resident found guilty of incest, abuse, enticement and exploitation,” and “Judge refuses to delay sentencing for sex offender.” Jessica Martin is the woman who was married to the man convicted of these heinous crimes.
Jessica is a mother and she has worked in the medical field for 21 years. She is in her dream job as an OB Tech in Labor & Delivery. Jessica says, “There is nothing better in life than bringing life into the world and being a part of growing families.” Jessica added, “I will be sharing my story about my life which was extremely difficult and trying at times. Three years ago, my life completely changed due to abuse and cruelty from my ex-husband. I will share my story of the difficult times and how it has turned out for the better now. I’m so honored to share my story and to let other women and mothers know you aren’t alone. Faith, prayers and positivity brings you so much in life!”
Listen to her courageous story and how she felt God’s presence when she needed it the most. This episode originally aired on October 6, 2018. If you or someone you know needs help, call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1−800−799−7233 or TTY 1−800−787−3224.
