Enrique Tail Named LCSD #1 Student of the Week
Enrique Tail was selected as Laramie County School District 1’s Student of the Week for the week of Jan. 14.
“Enrique attends school regularly and produces in all of his classes,” members of the selection committee said. “He perseveres in trials and keeps a positive mental attitude in all things. He has earned Honor Roll status each quarter of his academic career at Triumph.”
Tail is a sophomore at Triumph High and is actively involved in soccer, basketball, karate and holds a job at McDonald’s. Although he has faced many challenges, he always makes sure to shine bright and he encourages others to keep shining.
“He is prompt, participates, is prepared, polite and delivers good work,” members of the committee said.
Tail lives by the six P’s of the Triumph Discovery Program, which offers a social/emotional curriculum to help students achieve greatness and become good citizens.
“Enrique’s drive and willingness to adapt to the class environment encourages his peers to model his behavior,” Jeremy Cartwright, Triumph P.E. teacher, said. “He has developed into an amazing, caring and uplifting example to others.”
