The Archer Complex had its grand opening in the month of August and started its launch by hosting the Laramie County Fair. The Complex has become a primary destination to fulfill a variety of community needs. From being a venue for luncheons, to hosting exhibits and fairs, the space is large and adaptable. Now, with a recent grant received by the County a playground will be added to the grounds to further enhance the amenities of the public facility.
According to Commissioner Ash, the County applied for a $44,357 grant from the Cheyenne Community Public Recreation District. The total cost of the project is $46,857 of which $2,500 is in-kind for site preparation.
