Halladay Motors Wins 2019 BBB Torch Award for Ethics
Halladay Motors was named a recipient of the 21st Annual BBB Torch Awards for Ethics and won the large business category.
The 74-year-old collection of auto dealerships, which offers Buick, GMC, Cadillac, Nissan, and Subaru vehicles, has developed a strong reputation for fair dealing and good customer service as evidenced by the fact that 78% of sales are to repeat customers. Halladay Motors‘ Torch Awards application exemplified strong leadership, exceptional customer care, healthy and fun goal setting strategies, unique promotional and learning opportunities for employees, and donations to a variety of charities.
The BBB Torch Awards were nominated by peers, colleagues and customers during the spring and summer of 2018. Those that accepted have spent the last three months working with teams of business students from Colorado State University, the University of Northern Colorado, and the University of Wyoming.
“We’re excited to continue growing our elite club of outstanding ethical businesses in Northern Colorado and Wyoming…today’s winners represent a wide swath of our service territory and show how important trust is in building a successful business in industries as varied as agriculture, banking, auto sales, and the nonprofit sector” said BBB CEO and president Pam King.
Another local business won the medium sized business category, Jonah Bank of Wyoming. Jonah Bank is a community bank founded in 2006 with the mission to “Build A Better Wyoming”. The bank is focused on growing small business in Wyoming and has used the “Code of the West” as much of the basis for their ethical culture and standard.
The Torch Awards celebrate and recognize local companies that demonstrate integrity and a strong commitment to ethics in all that they do. Congratulations to each of these businesses for their exemplary business leadership.
