If you’re considering driving south on I-25 for any shopping this weekend, holiday traffic is not the only factor in the equation. Current traffic volume numbers from both WYDOT and CDOT are hard and fast mathematics that greatly impact your travel time. Included in this formula is the current construction project between Fort Collins and Longmont.
If these numbers indicate an additional hour or longer on a trip to Denver, what will it be with the projected traffic volumes reported by CDOT? The numbers indicate 16 lanes will be needed to handle traffic volume in twenty years. Cheyenne businesses and residents need alternatives. Move Cheyenne is the current initiative of the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce to explore, propose and promulgate more effective transportation in our region.
