• Total Sales and Use Tax Collections: Up 5.4% in January 2025 compared to January 2024

• Tax Collections from Mining Sector: Down 17.2% in January 2025 from January 2024

• Total Employment: Up 1.7% in December 2024 compared to December 2023

• Private Education and Health Sectors: Added 1,300 jobs in a year (largest industry growth)

• Unemployment Rate in Dec. 2024: 3.5% (0.6% lower than U.S. rate)
