The City of Cheyenne Events Team added “extended” performances this summer during the Friday’s in the Plaza concert series.
Sir Mix-A-Lot was one of these additional shows, drawing a large crowd filling the plaza and surrounding streets on Saturday, July 20th (hence the “extended”). He is best known for his “Baby Got Back” song and when he played it the audience sang along making it heard all throughout downtown.
Mayor Marian Orr posted the featured photo on her Facebook page showing the volume of attendees. She further gave a shout-out to her Staff who invested their time and effort in making the evening a fun and safe experience for all present.
Don’t forget to come out for Cheyenne Day to witness a full afternoon of live music.
Then come to the Cheyenne Depot Plaza on Friday, July 26th featuring Whiskey Alibi with Black White Blues Band. Show will start at 7 pm.
