Livin’ Well Family Chiropractic Wins Beautification Award
New Location Brightens Up Yellowstone Rd.
Livin’ Well Family Chiropractic received the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce Red Carpet Committee’s “Beautification Award” at a ceremony Thursday morning. The award is given out quarterly and voted on by the Red Carpet Committee. It recognizes a business that improves or beautifies a space in our community.
The husband and wife team of Dr. Heather and Dr. Marley Smith originally opened their Livin’ Well practice at 1122 Logan Ave. but outgrew their space and began the search for a new location.
“We have been in practice almost seven years, six years of that was on Logan Avenue,” said Dr. Heather Smith. “Business was great and we were comfortable and we had a ton of patients. But we also knew that building had a capacity issue. We felt we could not serve the community like we wanted in that location.”
After an extensive search, they selected a vacant lot on Yellowstone, tucked between Cool Rivers Wine & Spirits and the building that was formerly home to Great Harvest Bread Co. Construction on the new facility began in May of 2018 and they opened their doors in December.
“We took the risk and bought the property. We had some ups and downs and some challenges to overcome, but moving here and serving the community in the magnitude that we can has been fantastic. To get this recognition means more than you know and we really, really appreciate it.”
