Local businesses recognized as travel destinations
Recently, writer Liza Weisstuch of Budget Travel visited Cheyenne and cultivated a list of 7 Things to Do in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
The short guide is an excellent resource to share with incoming family members or visitors as they can choose from the incredible opportunities listed! Museums, such as the Old West Museum, were listed as a must-do, as our Western heritage is important to share. Another incredible note from the author? We have great distilleries, such as Pine Bluffs Distilling and we’re gaining more to include Chronicles Distilling, to be located in the Downtown Asher Building.
Among the best places to hang out include sister companies, The Paramount Ballroom and The Paramount Cafe for the best beverages any time of day. Additionally, high tea at the Nagle Warren Mansion was noted as a great location for afternoon tea, and shopping at local stores like The Wrangler and Boot Barn are a must. According to Weisstuch, another must-stop is the historic Atlas Theatre, which you may have noticed is getting a facelift! Additionally, the Atlas is also hosting Emma’s Old Time Photos, a local small business, for the summer.
Among other great businesses in our community, the author lays out a great day or two trip for residents and visitors alike! Make sure to share the article, and don’t miss the great opportunities like getting your hat shaped at The Wrangler!
