CHEYENNE,Wyo.— The Cheyenne Police Department, in collaboration with the FBI, Wheatland Police Department, Platte County Sheriff’s Office, the ATF and the ATF Digital Forensic Lab, has identified Moses Dickens III, (20), Christopher Dominguez (26) and Antoine Mitchell (28), all of Albuquerque, NM, as the suspects responsible for the Medicap robbery which took place on October 6, 2016.
The three were indicted by a federal grand jury in Wyoming on May 17, on charges of conspiracy to commit carjacking, carjacking, two counts of using a firearm in relation to a crime of violence (aiding and abetting), attempted robbery involving controlled substances (aiding and abetting), robbery, and two charges of using a firearm in the commission of a violent felony.
On October 6, 2016, prior to the robbery in Cheyenne, the suspects are accused of carjacking a woman in Wheatland, abandoning her near the mountains west of town and forcing her to run up a hill while Mitchell fired a round as she ran away. On the same day, the suspects continued to Cheyenne in the stolen vehicle, where they entered the Medicap Pharmacy, fired handguns and attempted to rob the pharmacy. A pharmacy employee shot back at the suspects who then fled the scene. Police found the stolen vehicle unoccupied on Spring Court.
The suspects were arrested by Raton, NM police on December 3, 2016 in response to an armed robbery of a Medicine Shoppe franchise in Raton and have been in custody since that date. Federal warrants were issued on May 21, 2017 for the charges detailed above. This case remains under investigation by the Cheyenne Police Department.
