Meth & Heroin Found During Traffic Stop

On June 7, Cheyenne Police Department Officers stopped a vehicle in the 3900 block of E. 12^th Street.  While conducting the traffic stop, officers discovered a large amount of methamphetamine and heroin. The driver of the vehicle, Daniel Poynor, 37, of Cheyenne, was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine and heroin as well as being a felon in possession of a firearm.  In relation to the stop, Grady Timm, 24, of Cheyenne, was also arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine and heroin.

In total, over a pound of methamphetamine was recovered as well as over an ounce of heroin.

This case remains under investigation by the Cheyenne Police Department.
