Military Appreciation Days at the Cheyenne Frontier Days™ Old West Museum
Join the CFD Old West Museum throughout the coming weekend for a presentation of Wyoming Warriors: Just Doing Their Duty. This film, in honor of the Veteran’s Day weekend, demonstrates the courage and patriotism displayed by Wyoming’s Greatest Generation. This film will run continuously throughout the weekend in our Carriage Hall.
In association, the Museum is also introducing a special new display for our most recent carriage addition. The vehicle in question, a US Cavalry Escort Wagon, was actually used at Camp Carlin, a Cavalry supply depot located south of what is now F.E. Warren Air Force Base here in Cheyenne, WY. We will include a visual chronicle of how the canvas top was attached during the vehicle’s arrival at the museum.
The Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum is offering free admission for all active, reserve, and retired military personnel and their families Saturday and Sunday, November 11 and 12, in observance of Veterans Day.
Please come out to celebrate a rich Cheyenne heritage with, and in honor of, our nation’s veterans.
