Annually during the month of December the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce has the opportunity to celebrate influential women in Laramie County.
Finalists are honored and a Women’s Leadership Award recipient is named during the festivities. The Chamber is currently collecting nominations for this award and encourages everyone to take a few minutes to recognize woman within Laramie County for their outstanding achievements. Finalists and the winner will be selected by a committee comprised of past recipients.
Past recipients of the award include; Sharon Fain – Rocky Mountain Power, Lori Schoene – ANB Bank, Ann Redman – HOPE, Linda Weppner – Century 21 Bell Real Estate, Leigh Anne Grant Manlove – District Attorney, Renee Ashworth – Express Employment Professionals and many others.
2019 is a unique year to celebrate women too because it is the 150th year of Women Suffrage. In light of this special occasion, Senator Tara Nethercott will be the keynote speaker for this awards luncheon presented by State Farm Insurance – Suzanne Cork.
