Nominate a Community Caregiver
At Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home, they have tremendous respect and appreciation for our community of caregivers.
They believe the work of a caregiver often transcends any description of service and care. It takes a very special and devoted person called to be a shining light of comfort and care for their patients and those they service. The caregiver can be physician, nurse, chaplain, social worker, CNA, a healthcare administrative professional volunteer, or anyone else who is seen as an important caregiver in Laramie County.
“In an effort to recognize these dedicated people for their selfless devotion and generosity of heart, they have created our “Community Caregiver Award” program. Each month they honor a caregiver based upon a review of nominations received from peers, friends, patients and their families, and others who feel a particular person excels in her or his profession within the healthcare industry. The monthly winner will receives a gift card from a local restaurant, a wrapped flower bouquet, and a special award.” Shared Jeffery Jacoby during a visit with the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce Director of Partner Relations, Tonya Dove.
At the end of twelve months, the review committee selects the Caregiver of the Year to be revealed at a luncheon honoring the twelve finalists. The Caregiver of the Year will be awarded a two night stay at a Wyoming resort including a gift card for meals and essentials.
