Pine Bluffs New Elementary School Opens Doors
Pine Bluffs will open doors to students beginning November 27th.
The halls may look empty now, they won’t be for long. Construction for the new elementary school in Pine Bluffs began in 2016, and is now becoming a reality. This week teachers and staff are moving into the new building, and students will begin their first day in the new building on Monday, November 27th.
Former elementary students, and current Pine Bluffs HS students volunteered their time to help the teachers and staff move into the new building. Here are few comments from some of the teacher, staff and students.
“It’s been a long time coming. I’m very excited, we’ve been here 15 years, and we’ve been saying we are going to get a new building. Our staff is very flexible and ready for this move.” ~ Leanne Person, school Secretary
“I’m excited to get the new technology for our kids. It’s going to be great.” ~ Todd Thompson, PBES Teacher
“I’m EXCITED, because it’s new, and the water fountains will be different.” ~ Makenna, 5th grade student
Tobin and Associates, P.C. was the architecture firm that helped make this dream come true for so many in this small community. Between the Teachers, Staff, Students, Parents, and Community – It truly does take a village.
