Currently contractors in the greater Cheyenne area are seeking qualified pipefitter welders who are at the journeyman level. 5 States Pipe Trades Association is part of the UA who currently work with contractors in the region to supply workforce in the fields such as these. Businesses are in dire need of workforce with trades expertise and therefore, compensation for this field is promising. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the mean annual wage for these position is $58,150.00. Therefore the pay for these positions available by the UA Local are $34.59 an hour, with the health insurance and retirement additional. All candidates must be able to pass a drug test.
