Police Investigating Stolen Vehicle and Vehicle Fire
The Cheyenne Police Department is investigating a stolen vehicle taken from Capitol City Landscaping on April 11.
Officers determined the incident occurred around 4:00 a.m., when a truck with a plow on the front was stolen from Capitol City Landscaping’s enclosed lot at 1002 W. 17 St. The stolen truck was then driven through a fence at that business and through fences at the 1100 block of Dunn and the 1100 block of E. Lincolnway. A piece of fence also damaged a parked vehicle in a nearby parking lot.
The stolen truck was abandoned and appears to have been intentionally set on fire in the alley of the 2100 block of E. 13 St. Surveillance videos from the area show a white male with short hair, wearing a dark jacket and light colored pants entering a separate vehicle before the truck was stolen. If anyone has information on this crime, please call 307-637-6525.
This case remains under investigation by the Cheyenne Police Department.
