Shop Small Business Saturday Ramps Up Local Holiday Shopping

The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce continued its participation in rallying local businesses to participate in Shop Small Business Saturday on November 24th.

Currently over 50 businesses are participating in festivities for the shopping locally campaign. As the first organization to adopt this initiative in the County, the program has grown to feature more than 200 Businesses’ BIG plans for their Shop Small Celebrations through the years and has encouraged more than 25,000 residents and visitors to support local businesses.

From Bicycle Station offering free delivery on Horizon Fitness Equipment, to Cool Rayz & More offering BOGO tanning sessions, even 2 Doors Down offering 10% off your delicious meal when mentioning Shop Small, the day is filled with great deals, discounts, activities and more! There is something for everyone. Even pop into local favorites like Wyoming Home, a business who has been critical to Downtown Cheyenne for decades.

“By spending your dollars earned at local businesses, the economic impact is circulated more frequently. Locally owned and operated businesses are more likely to spend their money locally too. Additionally, small businesses are known to be the backbone for area non-profits which are important to the community. For the last 2 years the Chamber has partnered with the DDA/Mainstreet to spread the word about the great offerings of local businesses. This year the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce is also partnering with the Ballet Wyoming to strengthen awareness and increase participation in this wonderful initiative.
