A Splashing 75 Years
The Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities is celebrating a splashing 75 years of service.
In celebration of their anniversary, the Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities will be hosting a community wide event, Friday, April 27th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2416 Snyder Ave. The venue will include a kick-off for their anniversary in the Board’s lobby with a celebration ceremony. Guests will enjoy historic elements about the City entity and will be able to enjoy refreshments.
The Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities began in 1943 and delivers safe and clean drinking water to the City of Cheyenne. They additionally handle wastewater to the highest standards. The reason why Cheyenne is where it is too, is because of a major water source, Crow Creek. In fact, currently there is an opportunity to donate funds towards the initiative of restore the creek and making is a core part of the Cheyenne once again.
