#TakeMeAnyWhere Shia LaBeouf Documentary Came to a Close
Excitement hit Laramie County in 2016 when famous actor, Shia LaBeouf embarked on an adventure called #TakeMeAnywhere. Cheyenne residents located the actor and traveling companions hitting locations like Ruby Juice, the City of Cheyenne’s softball fields, Tucker Bar and even the Laramie County Archer Complex. He traveled via twitter- at noon once he listed their coordinates to have followers locate them. Once found, they would travel to their next location.
Since the special visit to Wyoming’s Capitol city there hasn’t been much talk on what happened next. Well, just this Sunday the premier of the documentary made from the #TakeMeAnywhere campaign was conducted at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Arts as a part of the MediaLive 2016. There was an audience question and answer session where LaBeouf shared his experience and findings along side Rönkkö & Turner. Shared by Carly Farco in attendance was her impression of the documentary- “Their work is really inspiring and beautifully made. It was super cool to get to hear from Shia and feeling connected to such a cool project.”
Live feeds of the session are listed on the museum’s Facebook page.
