Gordon Statement on Primary Election Results

Treasurer Mark Gordon released the following statement today following the Republican primary for the Wyoming Gubernatorial election.

“Jennie and I are incredibly humbled by the results of tonight’s election. From the very beginning, our campaign has been driven by, and for, Wyoming people. Tonight, Wyoming people spoke and loud clear. They saw through the anonymous attacks and out-of-state attempts to influence this race. They spoke up for Wyoming. Jennie and I are honored to have earned the faith and trust of so many Wyoming people. We have been overwhelmed by the tremendous outpouring of support we have received from all across Wyoming.”

“We want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the thousands of supporters, volunteers, donors, friends, and family who worked tirelessly to make this victory possible. Ours was a clean run, the sort of campaign we expect in Wyoming. To you we will be forever grateful.”

“Tomorrow, we will continue forward with our campaign towards the general election. I’ll keep meeting with Wyoming folks across the state and working for each and every vote. There’s still a big race ahead and I’m taking nothing for granted. Working together, I know we can build an even brighter future for our great state. Thank you.”
