UPDATE: Your Voice Was Heard

Thanks to the combined efforts of groups across the country, including some of our very own Wyoming businesses, the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act has been extended through the House Budget Committee’s advancement of the latest version of legislation.
Our voices were heard; two provisions that were concerning to Chambers of Commerce and other non-profits were entirely eliminated. As with all of our endeavors, the help of our local businesses is essential. We need your support, and voices, to ensure that our legislators understand the needs of our business community and to urge them to take action when necessary.
WY it Matters: The 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act has proven invaluable to the business community. Without it, many small businesses simply wouldn’t have been able to keep their doors open. Thanks to the savings it has provided businesses of all sizes, both inside and outside Wyoming, companies have been able to expand, thrive, and strengthen our economy as a whole. We commend Congress for taking a step in the right direction by extending the Act and strongly encourage making it a permanent part of our nation’s tax code.
