What’s more American than a 1942 Ford Coupe?

Fourth of July is a celebration of the United State’s Independence.

It is a day to reflect and honor the past. A rare gem in history is that of the 1942 Ford Coupe. In 1941, the Ford company updated it’s coupe but was only able to do a full production that year. The next year because of World War II the 1942 models of the Ford Coupe production was aborted. Making the 1942 Ford Coupe a rare gem symbolizing so much of our Nation’s history. The update from the original models to the ’42 included the addition of quarter windows to the rear seats, a mindful modernization for the time.

The Cheyenne Wheels for Charity founder, Nick Dodgson, had a solid vision for the restoration of this vehicle. His Cheyenne Midas team dedicated hours of their time and expertise to crafting the perfect look and function. It has become a work of art. The car is a symbol that in the United States, we can come back from anything and when we do, we are even better! It is a symbol that even through war as a Nation we are able to unite together as patriots and support important causes. And, it is a symbol that innovation is in our blood.
