Wyoming Entrepreneurs are Moo-ving Forward and Making Waves!
Those of you who have experience with working cattle in the Wyoming winter, which is likely many of you, know the struggles of stock tank water freezing over when the weather drops not just below freezing, but below zero. Ranchers Randall and Shondah Otwell from Crook County Wyoming have invented a solution that keeps stock tanks from freezing over in the winter and keeps mosquitos and algae away in the summer months. The Water Rippler, which will hit the markets this fall, is also a much more energy efficient alternative to stock tank heaters, and it has year-round use.
The ingenuity and creativity shown by the Otwell’s represents the kind of growth and entrepreneurial spirit we hope to continue to foster in Wyoming to moo-ve our state in a positive direction. With the implementation of the Wyoming Chamber of Commerce, the first statewide chamber in Wyoming, we will be able to reach across the state with initiatives that encourage and support this type of work.
