Wyoming Population Expected To Double For Eclipse
For the first time since 1918 a total solar eclipse will be able to be seen in Wyoming. With only 116 days until the Total Solar Eclipse 2017, where will you be? Visit the Wyoming Travel and Tourism Department website for these statewide events.
Homeland Security Information Network and Red Cross will be working with Emergency Management Departments throughout the state for communication and emergency measures. It is important to remember that there will be a lot of extra people, so plan ahead now if you are a resident. Hotels are sold out, restaurants will be busy, grocery stores will be moving a lot of products off the shelves. Community residents are advised to keep their freezers full, gas tanks filled, and an extra water supply.
Visit your local Visitor’s Bureau, Chamber of Commerce and City Office to learn more about what may be happening in your local community or how you can help.
Visit the NASA website for more information on the eclipse.
