Wyoming-Rooted Band To Open For Bon Jovi In Denver
The Patti Fiasco, one of Wyoming’s most popular locally grown bands, has landed a gig opening for heavy weights Bon Jovi. The bands will be playing the Pepsi Center in Denver on April 14.
Bon Jovi held a contest for local bands to earn a chance to open for them at individual stops along the way. Patti Fiasco is based out of Fort Collins these days, but they began in 2008 in Laramie and routinely plays shows throughout Wyoming.
“There are some moments of your life that you have to shed all expectation of outcome and just relish in the experience,” front woman Alysia Kraft told the Wyoming Arts Council in a recent interview of her hopes for the show. “I hope that the band and I have the best time we’ve ever had playing music. I hope our energy resonates with the crowd and it leaves them craving more of it—whether that means buying albums or seeking out another live show. I’d love to make some new friends and fans.”
