Wyoming State Museum Store – Under New Management

Stop in at the Wyoming State Museum Store today.

When the opportunity of the store was presented to their soon-to-be new management team, it was obvious that something needed to be done to prevent the store from closing.  It would have been a terrible loss in the community to see such a gem close its doors for good.

August 9^th was the first day for business at the WSM Store, which included new store hours, but new hours weren’t the only change to come.

• The store is open Monday through Saturday 9:00 am – 4:30 pm.
• Books within the store have been moved to ensure compliance with ADA guidelines and to better assist all customers.
• There is now a social media presence where customers can see daily updates on new products coming into the store, sales, events in the museum and even giveaways.
• Our online webstore offers the comfort of shopping at home. You can choose to pick up your items in store at your convenience at no charge or they can ship to your door.
• Wyoming State Parks permits are offered during business hours in store. These permits include: resident and non-resident day use annual permits, resident annual camping permits, snowmobile permits, and ORV permits.

Although there are many changes inside and outside of the store, there is one constant mindset.  Here at the WSM Store they believe that they are a small facet of both a city and a state community.  There is a constant strive to support local businesses both in Cheyenne and in Wyoming.  Because there really is no other place like Wyoming.
