Zhenlin (Jenny) Li was selected as Laramie County School District 1’s Student of the Week for the week of Nov. 12.
According to the Triumph High Selection Committee, “Jenny Li demonstrates skills of a student destined for success.”
As an English as a Second Language (ESL) learner, Jenny Li faces many challenges at school, however, she always gives 100 percent in everything she does. Jenny Li grew up in Nanchang, China, and is here on an education visa to pursue her schooling in America. She said she enjoys the challenges she faces at Triumph.
Jenny Li is an optimistic, positive learner and is not afraid to ask for help when she needs it. She is respectful and kind to her peers and teachers. She said she is happy to receive this award and is proud to represent her country.
“She is a deep thinker and a joy to have in the classroom,” members of the selection committee said.
