Cheyenne’s annual Bike to Work Day returns on Wednesday, June 24, offering free morning meals, group rides and neighborhood events designed to nudge more residents onto two wheels. The celebration is part of a larger Bike Week that promotes healthier commutes, less traffic and community connection across the city.
The weeklong program runs June 21–26, with the focal point on June 24 when commuters are encouraged to ride to work and join organized activities. Organizers say the events aim to make cycling visible, safe and social for families and casual riders as well as daily commuters.
Morning fuel and neighborhood stops
Starting at 7 a.m. on June 24, several stations will hand out free breakfast to cyclists. Riders can drop by any participating location for a quick bite before work.

This activity combines light competition with local business engagement and encourages riders to explore different neighborhoods by bicycle.
After-work gathering and family rides
An evening event at Freedom’s Edge Brewing Co. runs from 5 to 8 p.m. on June 24. Expect live music, food trucks and a place to turn in Poker Run cards. It’s also the launching point for the group’s planned family-friendly slow roll.
The Cheyenne Slow Roll Group will lead a ride that departs Freedom’s Edge at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24. A second family ride is scheduled for the weekend during Superday at Lions Park; riders will assemble at the North Shelter.
