Dress the “Naked Lady”: Looking for the “Heroic Hundred”

The “Friends of the Atlas (FOTA)” are looking for the “Heroic Hundred” – 100 donors who will give $1000 each to the Atlas facade renovation (or to “dress the naked lady”, once the paint is removed). As people drive by the historic landmark at 121 West Lincolnway, they’ll start to see the “old lady” losing its facade-yellow and green paint that has adorned the Atlas for decades. The Cheyenne Little Theatre Players have been working towards the complete renovation of the 1887 building, and with the fundraising arm of the FOTA, who’s mission is to help raise funds for the Atlas Theatre and its needs. Pedestrians will be directed under the awning as Anthony Carr & Sons remove the paint and start the process of renovating the facade.
