Buffalo Stampede in Cheyenne

39th Annual 5k/10k Buffalo Stampede this Saturday, July 22nd.

The Red Buffalo Booster Club will host the 39th Annual 5K/10K Buffalo Stampede Run/Walk at Francis E. Warren Air Force Base. Proceeds of this fundraiser will directly benefit members of the 90th Missile Wing.

The Buffalo Stampede is an annual event which allows military service members and their families to run alongside civilian competitors from the local community. The Buffalo Stampede has historically been the kick-off event to Cheyenne Frontier Days.

This fundraiser will also help promote physical fitness on base and throughout the local community, as well as strengthen the long-standing relationship the City of Cheyenne has with the base.

The Red Buffalo Booster Club is accepting donations/raise funds for the booster’s budget to provide support for the 39th Annual 5K/10K Buffalo Stampede Run/Walk. Examples of donations include, but are not limited to, funds for registration fees, gift cards, food, water, and supplies. If you would like to donate to this local event please contact:

Pre-registration for participants can be done online at RaceEntry.com under “39th Annual Buffalo Stampede,” or pick up registration forms from Foot of the Rockies in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
