Your Week Guide to Cheyenne Frontier Days

Everyday Events:

1. Old Frontier Town: Between the CFD Old West Muesum and the Indian Village this town reflects the history of Cheyenne including historic figures and eclectic artisans and merchants.  (10:30am-8pm daily)

2. Carnival Midway: Enjoy carnival rides, games, and classic treats such as funnel cakes and deep fried oreos. The carnival is great for families and thrill seekers, tickets are avalible at the park. (10:30am-12:30am daily)

3. Indian Village: Includes traditional Native American foods, performances, and vendors. This village is great for immersing yourself into Native American culture and getting a free glimpse into Wyoming history. (10:00am-7:30pm)

4. Old West Museum: The Old West Museum is a visual experience that offers insight into the history of Cheyenne Frontier Days, the Old West, and America’s first extreme sport. (8:00am-8:00pm)

5. Behind the Chutes Tour: First hand look at what goes on behind the rodeo including walking the pathway livestock goes through to entering the arena. The tour begins in front of the Old West Museum several times a day.

6. Old Fashioned Melodrama: Thursday, the 20th to Sunday, August the 6th

Friday the 21st:

• Cinch Rodeo Shoot-Out: 12:15 pm
• Fort D.A. Russell Days- Located at F.E. Warren Air Force Base during the hours of 9am to 4pm there are events going on such as a secuirty forces dog presentation and buffalo roast.
• Concert: Brantley Gilbert 6:00pm
