The Polls are in – and Voters Mean Business
The presidential election may be months away, but while the clock is ticking down, time is filled with debates, polls, and elections. One such poll sent out by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce puts public views on pro-growth policies and pro-business candidates, and the votes are in – voters mean business. From Democrats to Republicans to Independents, many voters are looking for a government that will stay out of their businesses and back up from economic micromanaging.
Go deeper: Want to know what else matters to voters? Polls show that many favor the side of business on other policy issues too. The following issues were a voter favorite in the polls:
-
Securing the border & increasing legal immigration
-
Stopping frivolous lawsuits
-
Enacting permitting reform
-
Pursuing more global trade
The bottom line: Voters pro-business, and so is your Cheyenne Chamber. We continue to fiercely advocate on a local, state, and national level for our businesses, and with the upcoming legislative session, this is increasingly important. This is a great time to get involved and help us to advocate for your business – check out some of the committees we have below.
