When’s the last time you ate a Quarter Pounder from McDonald’s? Hopefully it hasn’t been recently, because the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has announced that Wyoming is one of 10 states that has seen an E. coli outbreak that’s likely due to ingestion of Quarter Pounder hamburgers. As of Tuesday evening, there have been 49 known cases, 10 hospitalizations and one death across 10 states from this E. coli outbreak. For the time being, McDonald’s has stopped selling Quarter Pounders in these states. Stay safe and stay healthy, Wyoming!
