The Greenway is the way to get almost anywhere
By foot or wheels, the Greenway is there for you.
From Sun Valley to Western Hills, LCCC to the Pointe, Downtown to Harmony Meadows, a 10 feet wide concrete path provides safe and natural passage through Cheyenne. Boasting approximately 37 miles of completed path, Cheyenne has a key component of the non-motorized transportation system right in neighborhoods around Cheyenne.
The Greenway between Johnson Junior High and Goins Elementary School has five fitness stations set up that are part of the Energi® Total Body Fitness System. It allows for 120 different exercises and can have up to 14 users at one time.
Saturday, June 15th the community can help to support the further development of the Greenway by participating in their annual fundraiser. The Dash N’ Splash will be held in the Mylar Park at 8 a.m. and all proceeds will go toward the Greenway Foundation.
Whether they are biking, walking or running, the Greenway paths that twist and turns and goes over and under some of the busiest roads which makes it a safe alternative for everyone in the family. The Dash N’ Splash is to help continue to grow this largely adored community asset.
