CPD Investigating Armed Robbery
The Cheyenne Police Department is investigating an armed robbery which occurred at 1922 E. Lincolnway (Loaf N Jug) shortly after 4:00 a.m. on February 22.
Three individuals were involved, two males and one female. The two males entered the store and one of them fired two rounds from a handgun. The two then stole general merchandise and cash before leaving the store. Nobody was injured during the incident. While these two were inside the store, the female involved remained outside in a black Cadillac sedan.
The suspects are described as follows: Suspect 1- Male, has long hair, a beard, and glasses, was wearing a white t-shirt with Champion graphics, blue jeans and blue basketball shoes. Suspect 2- Male, wearing a black zip up hooded sweatshirt, black skinny jeans, red athletic shoes and a goatee. Suspect 3-Female wearing a light colored jacket and dark pants.
The Cheyenne PD is investigating a connection of this case to two other local cases. At approximately 2:00 a.m., the Denver Police Department was investigating a homicide/carjacking in which the suspects fled on I-25 in a black Cadillac. At approximately 10:00 a.m., a Wells Fargo bank was robbed in Summit County, near Park City Utah by three individuals who fled in a black Cadillac. The Cheyenne PD can confirm that the male suspects from the Summit County robbery were the same individuals involved in the robbery in Cheyenne.
If you see these suspects, do not approach them, and immediately contact your local law enforcement. This case remains under investigation by the Cheyenne Police Department.
