Breeze Thru Car Wash Expands With Eastern Growth
Pershing Booming with Business Development
That long and painful wait for a car wash in Cheyenne may soon be a thing of the past. Breeze Thru Car Wash of Cheyenne is building a second location and owner John Agnew confirms it is scheduled to open in mid to late-August. When it opens, the new Cheyenne location will be Agnew’s 11th in the Front Range, spanning from Longmont to Cheyenne.
“We saw a need for a second location in Cheyenne,” said Agnew. “This new location will really help relieve some of the traffic at the Dell Range location.”
The second location is currently under construction on Pershing Blvd., between Ridge Road and McCann Ave. and will be noticeably larger than the original location at 2106 Dell Range. The new location will feature a 130′ long cleaning bay allowing more equipment and thus, more throughput. Compared to the original location, opened in 2010 is just 87′ in length. Both locations will feature consistent pricing and customers who have purchased the Unlimited Plan will be able to utilize it at both locations.
The construction on Pershing is just one of a growing number of exciting new developments in that block. Breeze Thru’s construction joins Church’s Chicken to the west, scheduled to open later this year, and the new Pershing Marketplace to the east at the corner of Pershing Blvd. and College Drive. These commercial developments come on the heels of the planned expansion to the Saddle Ridge residential subdivision, making the east side of Cheyenne the most rapidly developing
“As our community continues to grow residential towards the east it is vital that our commercial developments in that area grow along with it”, expressed City of Cheyenne Mayor Marian Orr. “This relation of growth allows residents in that area to have better commercial resources they utilize daily within a reasonable distance. Growth towards the east is certainly the most rapid but it is encouraging to see developments throughout all corners of our community. Cheyenne is truly a great place to live and the growth we’ve seen in recent years, I believe, is reflective of that.”
