Women’s Suffrage Tea
In 1919, Congress granted women the right to vote in the United States, but it would not have been possible with out Wyoming’s lead in 1869.
This was an important time in history and is known as the Women’s Suffrage Movement. In light of the Anniversary, there has been a volume of events taking place in the State of Wyoming to celebrate. An exciting opportunity is the upcoming Women’s Suffrage Tea hosted by the Historic Plains Hotel. Each attendee of the event will also get the unique opportunity to tour the hotel with the owner, Astrid. It was established in 1911 as a luxurious hotel in the Magic City of the Plains and the overall building is rich with history. Therefore, the tour will be an epic and unique experience for all who go.
