Math teacher at Johnson Junior High School, Joe Meza was arrested today for 8 counts of sex with a minor.

A warrant for his arrest was issued Friday, July 7th and Meza turned himself in today, July 10th. He is a Golden Apple Award winning teacher and teaches 7th grade.

His initial hearing regarding the case was with Judge Nau and a bond of 100k was set.
