Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra Announces the 2019-20 Season Lineup
CSO will kick off their season with the 61st Annual Symphony Gala on September 7th.
“Spirit of the West” on Oct. 12th celebrates the 150th anniversary of the Transcontinental Railroad, Ernest Hemingway’s Wyoming connections and features Grammy-winning cellist, Zuill Bailey! “Nordic Triumph” on Nov. 16th features Scandinavian Composers and superb pianist Silvana Santinelli. In “Holiday Magic” on Dec. 14th, local guests Cheyenne Chamber Singers, Cheyenne All-City Children’s Chorus and En Avant Dance Studio will again join the orchestra. This concert has become a beloved holiday tradition for Cheyenne.
Their celebration of Beethoven’s 250th Birthday begins on Jan. 25th with “Blockbusters and Beethoven”! The popular movie music concerts return with Blockbuster movie soundtracks combined with the timeless music of Beethoven. The much loved family matinee, “Heros and Villains”, which features a family length, hour long program, will include music from such beloved movies as “Superman”, “Batman” and “Dances with Wolves”.
The Beethoven birthday party continues with “Tchaikovsky and Beethoven” On Feb. 29th featuring renowned violinist Mriam Fried and “Mahler and Beethoven” on Mar. 21st with baritone, Levi Hernandez. Perhaps the biggest announcement this season is that CSO will present Raiders of the Lost Ark in Concert, a film with LIVE orchestra accompaniment on Apr. 25th brought to the community by Diamond Presenting Sponsor, Spradley Barr Toyota! This concert is not included with the season packages, however, season ticket holders receive pre-sale access to tickets until Aug. 15th.

CSO will again offer 4 great season ticket packages. All can chose the one that’s best suites them! The all-inclusive Platinum Package and the traditional 5 Masterpiece concert Classic Package both feature a 20% discount and also include Chamber music concerts, depending on the package. The smaller Duo and Trio packages come with a 10% discount and purchasers can choose their favorite two or three Masterpiece concerts to create the perfect package for them! Season tickets start at just $30.60 for adults!
Season tickets go on sale to the public on June 15th, 2019.
