Wyoming’s Capital City Grows
Lately, when driving around the City of Cheyenne projects are erupting from the dirt.
Wyoming’s Capital City is growing and entrepreneurs are making investments into further expanding their businesses in all sectors. Downtown, The Capitol Cuisine, has become a delicious destination and recently changed the exterior of their building to encompass eye catching colors. Also, downtown is the soon-to-be restaurant and event venue at 17th & Carey. An interest complex has been under construction across from Wyoming Tribune Eagle, it is the West Edge Collective building. The marketing firm has reached new heights and is reinvesting in the community with creating its very own establishment. Like West Edge, Livin’ Well Chiropractic has also been working on their new facility. This is off of Yellowstone near Great Harvest. It will be completed mid-November. Over in the same area is the Sutherland Building, which is now getting a makeover. This soon will be an office complex for the State of Wyoming.
“We are excited to see the number of businesses investing in our community. We strive to be a business friendly community and as the Chamber, we are proud to be a resource for all of these startups and existing businesses.” shared Vice President of the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce, Stephanie Joy Meisner-Maggard.
Most recently has been the opening of several new businesses in the newly updated Pershing Plaza. This anchor is in the middle of the community and features Wyoming Financial Insurance, Rail Yard – Coffee Haus & Eatery, Gold’s Gym and a new bar & grille, The Office. All of this is a great update to the area of town and also is close to the newly updated Capitol Movie Theatre. The featured locations are open to the public for tours during the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce Special Event tonight, Thursday evening, October 25th from 5-7 p.m.
Then going east of town is a new commercial development off of College & Pershing, and in the same area is the soon-to-arrive Churches Chicken off of Ridge Road. On Dell Range there is the new Panera Bread being built near the Windmill Road Crossing.
Having this kind of growth is exciting and it is nice to witness an array of businesses being supported by the community. Just this year alone new businesses have opened all over the community; The Paramount Ballroom, City Brew, Central Cafe, Provisions, Mr. Jim’s (East Location) and many others.
